Brief Itinerary
We take a scenic drive crossing the paddy fields and local villages in the Red River Delta to Hoa Lu, the former capital of Vietnam in the 10th century. Here we see the ruins of the former capitol. We later travel to Tam Coc town for a delicious Vietnamese lunch. After lunch, we take a traditional sampan through beautiful rice paddy scenery and visit the three famous grottoes: Hang Ca, Hang Giua and Hang Cuoi.
We drive back to Hanoi in late afternoon.
